Payment Terms
Last Updated: October 27, 2026
At Egypt Supplier, we believe successful international trade begins with transparency, trust, and clear commercial agreements.
We provide flexible, professionally coordinated payment arrangements for international B2B transactions involving Egyptian food products, subject to individual agreement and applicable banking requirements.
These Payment Terms explain our quotation-based payment process, accepted arrangements, payment confirmation, and important financial considerations for export orders.
1. Business-to-Business Transactions
Egypt Supplier operates as an international B2B food supplier and exporter.
Our website is designed for product discovery, business inquiries, and quotation requests.
We do not process direct online checkout payments through our website.
All payment arrangements are confirmed individually through the relevant proforma invoice, sales contract, or written commercial agreement.
2. Quotations and Proforma Invoices
Customers interested in our products may request a commercial quotation by contacting our export team.
A quotation may specify:
Product descriptions and quantities
Packaging and private label requirements
Unit prices and total order value
Agreed currency
Payment method and schedule
Production and shipment conditions
Freight charges and delivery terms
Quotation validity
Where applicable, Egypt Supplier issues a proforma invoice setting out the proposed commercial conditions.
Orders proceed according to the payment and acceptance terms agreed by both parties.
3. Available Payment Arrangements
Available payment methods depend on the value and nature of the transaction, destination country, buyer requirements, and mutual agreement.
Payment arrangements may include:
International Bank Transfer (T/T)
Payments may be arranged by international bank transfer using verified beneficiary details supplied in the relevant commercial documents.
Letter of Credit (L/C)
Documentary letters of credit may be considered for qualifying transactions, subject to prior approval, agreed documentary conditions, and bank acceptance.
Other Agreed Commercial Arrangements
Alternative payment structures may be considered where expressly agreed in writing.
No payment method is automatically available for every order.
4. Advance Payments and Deposits
Depending on the order, an agreed advance payment or deposit may be required before production, procurement, or customized packaging begins.
The deposit amount, balance payment, and applicable deadlines will be specified in the commercial agreement or proforma invoice.
No universal deposit percentage applies to all orders.
5. Final Payment and Shipment Arrangements
Final payment requirements depend on the agreed commercial terms.
Where applicable, outstanding balances must be settled before shipment, release of documents, or another agreed contractual milestone.
Production, shipping, and document-release schedules may be affected if required payments are delayed.
6. Payment Currency and Bank Charges
Invoices may be issued in an internationally agreed currency.
The buyer and seller will confirm the transaction currency before order acceptance.
International bank transfers may involve correspondent-bank charges, transaction fees, and exchange-rate differences.
Responsibility for such costs will be determined by the agreed payment instructions and commercial terms.
7. Private Label and Customized Production
Orders requiring customized packaging, printed materials, or special production arrangements may involve additional advance-payment requirements.
These terms will be communicated before the relevant production commitments are made.
8. Customs Duties and Import Taxes
Product quotations do not automatically include destination-country customs duties, import taxes, VAT, inspection fees, or local clearance costs.
Responsibility for these charges depends on the applicable Incoterms, agreed delivery arrangements, and relevant legal requirements.
All included charges should be identified in the commercial quotation or contract.
9. Payment Verification and Security
For your protection, payments should only be made using beneficiary details verified with Egypt Supplier through established official communication channels.
If you receive a request to change bank details, independently confirm the change using a previously verified company contact before transferring funds.
Egypt Supplier may request reasonable payment confirmation and compliance documents where necessary.
Customers should not send sensitive banking passwords or card security information through ordinary email.
10. Payment Delays and Commercial Disputes
If a payment is delayed, we encourage customers to contact our export team promptly to discuss the situation.
Any resulting changes to production schedules, shipment arrangements, or contractual obligations will be handled according to the agreed commercial terms.
Payment-related disputes will be reviewed in good faith with reference to the relevant invoices, confirmations, and purchase agreements.
11. Refunds and Adjustments
Approved refunds, credits, or payment adjustments are governed by the applicable commercial agreement, our Refund & Returns Policy, and relevant law.
